A wonderful day tour in classic West coast waters. The salty sea meanders its way between leafy islands and nature reserves, from the Fjord of Gullmarn to the Koljöfjord. To say that the kayaking is idyllic is really an understatement.
Kayaking in the area is protected and calm and if you are paddling for the first time this is the ideal location. And if you’ve spent plenty of time in the cockpit this is still an ideal location. We pass along skerries and islets and narrow passages and circumnavigate the idyllic island of Bassholmen, with bird sanctuaries, summer grazing animals and quaint old historic buildings. Bassholmen is also our perfect landing spot for lunch, coffee and a nice stretch of the legs.

Lunch / coffee
Please let us also fix your lunch and coffee. Order for an extra cost of 150 SEK. Our paddle lunch is an organic pasta salad with chicken, served with dressing, freshly baked bread and butter. We round that off with mom Lena’s homemade organic cinnamon buns and an espresso. Is there anything you can not tolerate or are allergic to, we will provide another option of course. Please contact us!
Previous experience
You don’t need any prior knowledge to join us on this tour. The tour is a great introduction to kayak paddling, where we continuously practise the basic skills you need. We do, however, assume that you are able to swim and that you are at least 15 years old, or paddle in the company of a responsible adult.
Time & Place
Vi meet at 09.00 in Upplevelseladan, Gustafsberg. The estimated return is aroud 17.00.
Included in the price
The price includes
- All necessary paddling equipment (sea kayak, paddle, cockpit cover and life jacket)
- Transportation of you and all the equipment to and from launching and landing
- Cleaning the kayaks and equipment
- Guiding and instructions

You would like to bring:
- Clothes for paddling (quick drying synthetic or woolen shirt, bathing trunks, wind jacket)
- Shoes for paddling (water resistant sandals, neoprene shoes or Crocs)
- Warm change of clothes packed dry
- Sun screen and a cap
- Snacks, sweets and other types of energy boosts, if you like.
- Camera with plenty of room on the memory card
