In the westernmost outpost of the archipelago, the sea birds and seals have a sanctuary. And on one of the islands, Storö, lies an amazing Inn with great food and comfortable beds. A perfect base camp for three days of exploration of Sweden’s most exotic paddling waters.

We start our Weather Islands trip with a tour of Fjällbacka. From the outer islands, we hitch a boat ride across the fjord to the Inn at Storö. There we have our base for two days of paddling among the three hundred and sixty five islands of the archipelago. We finish our days with a good dinner and maybe some half true paddling tales over a cognac or a glass of wine.

Everything was perfect

Everything was perfect. Very kind guide who knew a lot about the environement and told us a lot. Very interesting. Watching the seals was a great experience and he took us to lovely spots.
